What you'll do day to day
Supplier bills and receipts, tagged to the trip
Signed in as the owner, open /projects. Open a TRIP- project, then tag each hotel, airline and DMC bill and each receipt to it as you record it.
TCS on the receipt
Signed in as the owner, open /invoices. Open a paid Dubai or Europe package: the receipt carries the TCS the customer paid, recorded when the money came in.
Tour-operator GST, the way GSTR-1 wants it
Signed in as the accountant, open /gst/returns. Package lines sit next to ticketing and visa service-fee lines in the same return, each at the rate set on the item.
The bank and the books agree
Signed in as the accountant, open /banking/reconcile. The imported bank statement matched line by line to guest receipts and supplier payments.
Hand the season to the CA
Signed in as the owner, open /reports/hand-to-ca. One pack for the CA: trial balance, GST, TDS/TCS and the Tally export.
A Bengaluru tour operator that keeps every trip's bills and receipts together
Before: Trips tracked in spreadsheets, TCS on overseas packages worked out by hand at filing time, and margin known only when the season was over.
With Finocket: Every trip is a project that collects its own revenue and supplier bills; TCS is recorded on the receipt; package and service-fee lines sit on one invoice, each at the rate you set.
(Sample business: Yatra Sethu Holidays, a demo travel & tourism workspace in Bengaluru, Karnataka - not a real customer.)
