Run a clinic's billing on Finocket

Your first ten minutes with a sample clinic, then a fee in five seconds, a scoped login for reception, 194J TDS from hospitals handled at gross, and month-end in one sitting — the queue never waits for software.

Running a clinic's billing on Finocket.

A clinic’s billing lives or dies at the front desk. This playbook keeps the queue moving: a fee at the front desk, a scoped login for reception, and the TDS on professional fees (194J; s.393(1) from 1 Apr 2026) that hospitals and corporates withhold handled without spreadsheet archaeology.

  1. Set your visit fees and a booking link

Add each visit you charge for as a service item (first consultation, follow-up, counselling session) under Items, then create a booking link for it under . A patient who books is a client, not a lead. Finocket holds the patient’s name and booking, not a diagnosis or visit notes. The pharmacy tool can keep a prescription copy against a sale; the booking tool does not.
  2. Give reception its own login

Invite front-desk staff with billing access only. See Team & roles and the front-desk hub.
  3. Take a fee at the front desk

Press ⌥P/Alt+Shift+P, pick the patient (or add with just a name), amount, save. The receipt goes on WhatsApp if they want it.
  4. Handle TDS on professional fees (194J; s.393(1) from 1 Apr 2026)

When a hospital or TPA pays minus TDS, record the payment with Client deducted TDS? on; the invoice still closes at gross and your annual tax statement view stays reconcilable.
  5. Month-end in one sitting

Reconcile the bank, skim outstanding, and if you’re GST-registered GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B drafts are prepared from your invoices for you and your CA to review.

A fee at reception is a phone job; reconciling the month is a desktop one. See what each device is best for.
